Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup long grain white rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp lime zest

Equipment

  • Medium saucepan with lid

Method
 

  1. In a pot, combine rice, water, oil or butter, and salt. Bring to a bubble.
  2. Diminish warm to moo, cover, and stew for 15–18 minutes or until water is ingested.
  3. Expel from warm and let rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Cushion rice with a fork and blend in cilantro, lime juice, and lime get-up-and-go.
